On March 6, “We Must Talk about Pain: Dialogue between Gurnah and Ge Fei”was held in the Bay Zero of ECNU —the 23rd session of the Apricot Altar High-Level Forum, the 2nd lecture of the Prestigious Scholars Lecture Series 2024, and the 30th session of the Distant-Reading Lecture Series ,—which is hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee of ECNU, the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at ECNU, Shanghai Translation Publishing House, and The Paper, and organized by the International College of Chinese Studies, the Distant-Reading Centre for Criticism, and the Global Chinese Development Research Center at ECNU.
